This place has really gone down hill! Ordered large cod and chips and they gave it to me in a paper bag all broken and dripping with oil! I took it back and they did give me a better cod but from my opinion this place is nothing like it was years ago.. terrible with two young boys running it now. Wont be going there again.
4 stars because it's cash only, but there is a free ATM at the rail station; otherwise, the food deserves a 5. Interior was very clean. Portions for the price was excellent. My wife and I shared a large cod and were satisfied. They were even nice enough to cut in half for us before cooking. I've heard that at peak times there is a wait and it helps to call in but went around 7 and waited 5 minutes. Their smaller order of chips (called medium on the menu) was right for the 2 of us. Condiments other than salt and vinegar are extra. Yes the staff was very serious and seemed moody as other reviewers have said but the quality speaks for itself
Brilliant chip shop with arguably the best chips in Sevenoaks. Located close to the train station, normally you can expect to find people waiting for their orders but the wait is never that long. It is also possible to phone in advance and order and this would be recommitted if you are sorry on time.Family run chip shop with a secret batter recipe which is great. Easy to get to and the service is quick. There are other Tom Bells around the area and worth looking out for because of the great food.
