Restaurant area was poor. Staff was lovely and place was small. Can't do a whole day there but maybe an hour or two. Nice little spot

Learnt more than I could have imagined in my visit to the conservation centre. The talks and interactive activities with the animals were great, something I certainly didnt expect that would be included in the price of my visit. Would highly recommend to people of all ages.

Fabulous place, the England's best little zoo.Don't go expecting to see lots of animals and acres of exhibits, slowly wander around each section and go back to the picnic area every 30 minutes as a staff member brings out a new animal to meet/feed. In our 2 hours there my 4yr old got to meet a snake, rat, millipede, monkeys & parrots. The cost is what it needs to be to keep such a small place working, so please don't think it's expensive 'for what it is'.

Very small and quaint animal centre. Very good for younger children as not to much like some of the large Zoos that tire them out before you get round. Keep in mind you can not get any food here, only a tea or coffee, we were happy to take a packed lunch and we visited on a Wednesday. Other days of the week there is a little cafe open next door, I will be back soon to visit the cafe, as I've heard it is lovely with homemade produce.

Absolutely wonderful staff who (despite the torrential downpour!!) still went out of their way to ensure exciting and informative talks and experiences for everyone on site. The animals are adorable, well cared for, and definitely not animals you'd see in any old zoo. They're rare, interesting and beautiful. It's clear that this place is an up and coming gem that should be supported and visited many times over. My family and I will definitely be returning! A great day out for everyone!! :) I highly recommend.
