We stayed here on a Sunday evening whilst on a family visit during the Christmas holiday period. The double room was priced at 53 a night and the booking was flexible and could have been cancelled right up to 13:00 hours that day.We found this new PremierInn to be one of the quietest we have been to with very few guests. Luckily we could park our car at a nearby relatives home as there is no on-site parking here. We found our room on the 3rd floor to be immaculate with the standard HD TV, coffee making facilities, usb charging at the bedside and various adjustable room lighting options available. The beds were comfortable but the room was warm with no way of opening the window. Unfortunately the bar had no beers or lager on tap and the bottled beer was very expensive at 3.85 for a small bottle of corona. On the plus side however we didnt get charged for two cups of coffee and we were given free chocolate brownies while we were having our drinks at the bar when the restaurant part closed at 21:00 hours. We may sample the breakfast before we leave although at 9.50 each it isnt going to be cheap. overall its been a pleasant stay and the staff were very friendly.

The room had everything we needed for a night stay. the food was surprisingly good and fresh. the staff is lovely. very decent breakfast. the room was a decent size and beds were comfy. the bathroom was a good size and clean.

Thank you Becky & Charlie for smiling, chatting and helping me with my 'pregnancy' related requests! :-) The food was also fab. We had breakfast and two evening meals. Conveniently placed opposite to the train station should you need it too! Highly recommended for friendly staff, comfort and food! :-)
